WHEN TO SOW
April and May.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seed thinly in a well prepared seed bed in shallow drills 2cm deep. Keep well watered.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Thin the seedlings as they appear to 5cm apart. When the seedlings are about 10-15cm tall, transplant to the growing site 35cm apart. Set the young plants 2cm deeper than they were in the seed bed.
MATURITY
September onwards.
HANDY TIP
The problem with F1 hybrid varieties is that they all mature at the same time but Minicole will stand for many weeks without problem. |
