WHEN TO SOW
April and May.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds thinly in a well prepared seed bed 1cm deep and in rows 15cm apart.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As the seedlings appear thin to 7cm apart. When they are about 10-15cm tall, When seedlings are about 10-15cm tall,thin to 45cm apart, planting them 2cm deeper than in the seed bed. Water well.
MATURITY
First heads should be ready from August.
HANDY TIP
Once the main head has been harvested, the plant will produce small heads over the following weeks. |
