SOW  March and June.  Sow thinly in shallow drills 2cm deep with 30cm between rows.  Do not transplant.  Thin the seedlings gradually as they grow to an eventual spacing of 15cm.
MATURITY  June onwards.  Best harvested when 5-10cm in diameter.  Leaves can be used in place of spinach.
