WHEN TO SOW
April to June.
WHERE TO SOW
Early sowings in individual pots in glasshouse or cold frame. From May onwards sow 2 seeds 5cm deep and 15cm apart with 45cm between rows.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Gradually harden off glasshouse sowings for planting out mid-May. Reduce outside sowings to single plants.
MATURITY
Late June onwards.
HANDY TIP
Use cooked pods, chopped into small pieces, to add great flavour and interest to salads. |
