Sow indoors at around 18°C into good growing medium in trays and prick out when large enough to handle. Alternatively sow in modules, 2 seeds per module and thin to one plant. Sow February- March for greenhouse production, and March-April for outdoors. Stake plants for support, removing side shoots as they appear. Water regularly, feeding weekly with good quality fertilizer. Take out lead shoot on reaching eves of greenhouse. Maturity June onwards.
