Early sowings in trays under glass at 13°C. Seedlings should be pricked off into tryas 5cm (2") apart as soon as large enough to handle. Grandually harden off for planting in growing site 25cm (10") apart.

OUTDOORS
Later sowing should be made direct into the growing site 1cm (1/2") deep, in rows 30cm (12") apart. Thin out as they grow, to 25cm (10") eventual spacing. Thinnings can be transplanted to another site.
