OUTDOORS
Sow thinly in drills 2cm deep with 30cm between rows. Thin out seedlings as they grow to an eventual spacing of 35cm. thinnings can be transplanted to the same spacings.

WHEN TO SOW
May - June

INDOORS
Early sowings in trays under glass at 13°C. Seedlings should be pricked off into tryas 5cm (2") apart as soon as large enough to handle. Grandually harden off for planting in growing site 25cm (10") apart.

OUTDOORS
Later sowing should be made direct into the growing site 1cm (1/2") deep, in rows 30cm (12") apart. Thin out as they grow, to 25cm (10") eventual spacing. Thinnings can be transplanted to another site.
