INDOORS
Sow in soiless compost in trays or small pots from April and maintain at a temperature of 25°C, cover with glass until germination takes place. Prick off into small pots when large enough to handle and reduce temperature to 20°C.May be planted outside but not before mid-June.

OUTDOORS
Sow outside after mid-June.(Outside sowing is not advised in the North) Grow in a rich soil and water at midday when hot to allow the soil to dry before evening.
