April-May thinly in a well-prepared seedbed in drills 2cm (3/4") deep and keep well watered. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2") apart when at 15cm (6") tall. Transplant to growing site 40cm (15") apart. Plant young plants 2cm (3/4") deeper than they were in the seedbed. Maturity August - October.
