WHEN TO SOW
February to April.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds thinly in pots or trays of good compost under glass at 19ƒC. Cvoer lightly with sifted compost.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 4cm apart. Gradually harden off ready for planting out in the flowering site 30cm apart during May. Water regularly during dry spells.
MATURITY
June to October.
HANDY TIP
Germination can be erratic and take 3 to 4 weeks. Pinch out growing points to encourage more growth. Stems can be pinned down for a carpet effect. |
