WHERE TO SOW
In flowering site, 2cm deep, September or April, cold frame in pots 5 seeds to each October to November or february to March. Cold greenhouse January to February.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Greenhouse sowings should be gradually hardened off for planting out late March or early April. Space each clump 15cm apart. Direct sown seedlings can be thinned to 10cm apart. Provide netting, canes and string for support as soon as possible.
MATURITY
June to September
HANDY TIP
Pinch out growing tip of each plant when about 30cm tall as this will help produce many side shoots.
