Very showy plant for bedding or pots. Stocky plants carry many small centred, bright yellow flowers up to 12 cm across. As centre flower begins to open lateral branches are already in bud. Height 40 cm.

WHEN TO SOW
Late March to mid May.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow two seeds into small pots in cold frame or sheltered site. Later sowing direct into growing site.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Pot sown seedlings should be thinned to one plant as soon as large enough to handle and finaly planted out when about 15cm tall, spacing 45cm apart.
MATURITY
July to September.
