Very early and very dwarf. Double flowers on sturdy spikes. Makes a lovely pot subject. Selectable as the double flowers come from seedlings with serrated leaves at the 3 or 4 true leaf stage. Height 25 cm.

WHEN TO SOW
February to March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow in pots or trays under glass at 18ƒC covering seed with fine compost.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays or individual pots. Grow on and gradually harden off for planting out from early May spacing plants 15cm apart.
MATURITY
June to September.
EXTRA HANDY TIP
The double types are easy to spot as the seedlings have serrated leaves at the 3 or 4 leaf stage. |
