Salvia  Scarlet O’Hara Description:
Exclusive to Kings. Specially selected and produced on our own farm. The brilliant red flowers are early and held well above the bright green foliage. Many flower spikes are produced and they last well before fading. Height 30cm. 55 plants.

WHERE TO SOW

Sow in pots or trays in a good compost under glass at 18-20°C. Cover the seeds lightly with sifted compost. Keep moist.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2”) apart. Grow on and gradually harden off for planting in the flowering site in May 25cm (9”) apart.

HANDY TIP

Salvias make lovely additions to window boxes and patio containers.
