WHEN TO SOW
January to March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly into pots or seed tryas on the surface of good free-draining compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of Vermiculite. Place pots in a propagator or cover pots with a polythene bag and lkeep an even temperature of 20-25°C until after germination which takes approx 7-21 days. DO NOT exclude light as this will effect germination. When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Grow on and gradually harden off for planting in the flowering site from late May 10cm apart.
MATURITY
Late June onwards.
EXTRA HANDY TIP
Particularly good variety for use in patio containers and window boxes. |
