Annual. Height 20-25cm (8-10") Petunia Merlin is excellent for greenhouse performance on account of its dwarf compact plant habit and uniformity. When grown outdoors it retains its dwarf compact plant habit over the entire flowering season. Plants do not spread out even after rain. The flowers are about 6.5cm (2.5") across and plants about 25cm (10") when grown outdoors.

WHEN TO SOW
Sow thinly into pots or seed trays on the surface of good free-draining seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of Vermiculite. Place pots in a propagator or cover pots with a polythene bag and keep an even temperature of 20-25°C until after germination which takes approx 7-21 days. DO NOT exclude light as this will effect germination.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays and grow on. Gradually harden off and plant out from end of May onwards.
MATURITY
May to October
