WHEN TO SOW
Late February to April
WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly into pots or seed trays on the surface of good fre-draining seed compost and cover with a fine sprikling of vermiculite. Place pots in a prpagator or cover pots with a polythene bag and keep an even temperature of 20-25°C, until after germination which takes approx 7-21 days. DO NOT exlclude light as this will effect germination.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays and grow on. Gradually harden off and plant out from end of May onwards.
MATURITY
May to October
HANDY TIP
Plant out as soon as chances of frost have gone and they will flower virtually straight away and last righ through from May to October.
