WHEN TO SOW
May to August.WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly in seed trays in a cold frame or direct into the flowering site 1cm deep.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out the tray sown seedlings into a nursery bed or thin direct sown seedlings to 5cm apart. In October transplant or thin further to 20-25cm apart.
MATURITY
Early March and into summer.
HANDY TIP
Seedlings thinned out from direct sown beds can be transplanted into pots, trays or an alternative flowering site. |
