WHEN TO SOW

WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds in a good compost in trays or opots under glass at 15°C. Cover lightly with sifted compost or vermiculite.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart or, even better, into modules or peat pots to avoid later root disturbance. Gradually harden off before planting out in the floweri ng site 15cm apart in May.
MATURITY
June to September
EXTRA HANDY TIP
As soon as flowering is over, cut back to 10cm tall, feed well and, later in the season, you sould have a second display. |
