WHEN TO SOW
February and March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly in pots or trays of good compost under glass at 15ƒC. No need to cover the seed with compost.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting in the flowering site in May.
MATURITY
Late June onwards.
HANDY TIP
For bedding use treat as an annual but it often self seeds, but in bog garden or ponds it is fully perennial. |
