WHEN TO SOW
February or March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow into pots or trays in a good compost under glass at 18ƒC. Cover the seeds lightly with sifted compost.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting in the flowering site 20cm apart from late May.
MATURITY
June onwards.
HANDY TIP
The scent of Marigolds is thought to deter white fly, and plants are often placed with tomatoes where this is a problem. |
