WHEN TO SOW
March and April. Soak seed overnight 12 -1 5 hours before sowing
WHERE TO SOW
In open ground where intended to flower. Space seed about 10cm apart. We would suggest that when watering the seed you use a Soluble Fungicide such as Chestnut Compound (Product Code Number 45159) to prevent damping off, which can cause the plant to wilt and die back.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Thin out seedlings as they grow only if they are too close.
MATURITY
July and August.
HANDY TIP
This variety is best grown in small groups of 5 or 6 plants. If unable to sow direct, try modules to prevent root disturbance when transplanting. |
