WHEN TO SOW
Early April to early June. Soak seed overnight 12 - 15 hours before sowing
WHERE TO SOW
In open ground or cold frame. We would suggest that when watering the seed you use a Soluble Fungicide such as Chestnut Compound ( Product Code Number 45159) to prevent damping off, which can cause the plant to wilt and die back.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
Thin out seedlings as they grow to 5cm apart. Plant out during September and October spacing 30cm apart for flowering throughout the following summer. |
