WHEN TO SOW
January to March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly into pots or trays in a good compost under glass at 20ƒC. Cover the fine seeds very thinly.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays in groups of 4 or 5, 5cm apart. Grow on and gradually harden off for planting in the flowering site 15cm apart.
MATURITY
May onwards.
HANDY TIP
In hanging baskets, it helps to give more depth to the display to add a few upright plants in addition to the trailing varieties. |
