WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds in a good compost inside but do not cover the seeds with soil but cover the trays with glass until germination occurs. Alternatively, sow direct into flowering site barley covering the seed with soil. Water if dry.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle prick out into small pots and then transplant to growing position in full sun. If direct sown, thin out before transplanting to final position in second year in full sun.

Lavender Provence Blue

Hardy Perennial Height and Spread 50cm (20") A deep blue flower with an outstanding long flowering period. Can be used for dry bouquets if cut at an early stage. Ideal for use as border edging, pot plants, cut flowers or drying.

Place seed in the fridge for three days prior to sowing to break the dormancy.
SOW February at 18-24°C (64-76°F) to obtain flowers in same year. Sow on top surface of compost. Do not cover seed. As soon as large enough to handle prick out into 7.5cm (3") pots. Transplant after 6 weeks to growing site or, if before April, await milder weather before planting out.
