WHEN TO SOW
March to May.
WHERE TO SOW
Early sowings in pots or trays under glass at 13ƒC. Later sowings direct in flowering site 1cm deep.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When glasshouse sowings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Gradually harden off and plant in flowering site from early May 15cm apart. Gradually thin outdoor sowings to 15cm apart.
MATURITY
July to October.
HANDY TIP
To obtain the best dried flowers, cut just before fully open, hang upside down in small bunches in a dry, well ventilated area. |
