WHEN TO SOW
December to March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds evenly spaced in trays or pots of good compost under glass at 18ƒC. Cover lightly with sifted compost.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart or individually into small pots. Transplant when about 8cm tall into 9cm pots. Gradually harden off before planting out in May.
MATURITY
July to October.
HANDY TIP
Regular removal of the flower heads will encourage new flower growth throughout the summer. |
