SOW OUTSIDE April or May where it will flower the following year. GROW In light, well drained soil. Prefers acid soil. SITE In partial shade or sun. MEDICINAL It was used in heart conditions but always under medical supervision. The dried leaves may be used externally as a poultice to help healing of wounds. |The Foxglove plant has a stimulating effect when planted near other plants, encouraging their growth and protecting them from fungus. HELPFUL HINTS To help cut flowers keep fresh longer in a vase try adding a tea made from foxglove leaves. |
