WHEN TO SOW
November to February.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow seeds thinly in trays of good compost under glass at 16ƒC. Seeds can be sown in cold frames in autumn.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site in May. Autumn sown plants can be planted out in spring.
MATURITY
July and August.
HANDY TIP
Regular removal of the dead flower heads will greatly extend the flowering period. |
