WHERE TO SOW
Sow in trays or pots in a glasshouse at 13°C or later in mild areas can be sown direct in the flowering site.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into pots or trays 8cm apart. Harden off before planting out 25cm apart from early May. Direct sowings should be thinned to 25cm apart.

July to September
HANDY TIP
The spikes make interesting additions to flower arrangements if dried in a well ventilated dry area for winter use.
